Thai Massage Bodywork
Traditional Thai Yoga Bodywork stimulates the acupressure points in the body to, stretch, & loosen tight muscles releasing tension and relieving joints. Energy lines in the body called Sen Lines in Traditional Chinese Medicine - also known as energy channels, reflect internal organs, thus influencing physical, mental, and emotional processes.
Along with working with these lines of energy, both the muscle and connective tissue are provided with attention further allowing the flow of fluidity in the body.
Those who receive Thai bodywork regularly will experience feelings of relaxation, peace of mind, happiness, flexibility, and youthfulness.
Thai massage is the practical expression of loving-kindness, it offers a solid foundation in spiritual, and physical modalities for promoting well-being and long life.
Thai Yoga Bodywork is done on a padded mat on the floor, and you remain fully dressed in comfortable, yoga-type clothes. Each session starts with your choice of mini-ceremony with: cacao, homemade specialty tea, lotus, rose, pine or intuitively created blends.
Thai bodywork is not recommended for:
Anyone with serious heart conditions
Anyone with osteoporosis
*If you're considering trying Thai Yoga Bodywork, it's a good idea to check with your healthcare provider before getting treatment to discuss whether it's appropriate for you.

Taking a moment to honor this tradition, and the original teachers and keepers of this ancient practice. Traditional Thai Massage was once an oral tradition, kept close to the hearts of the Buddhists monks and only shared with the community. This tradition is not of my culture and it is an honor to know and share this medicine with the community.

La Cerrada (Closing of the Bones Ceremony)
This treatment of ancestral Mexican origin is also called “La Cerrada”. It’s generally offered to mark an important event in life (wedding, birth, death of loved one, change in career, change in living situations, divorce, and menopause). It has historically been a ceremony honoring the rites of passages for women, but is also an offering that can be beneficial for anyone experiencing imbalance after going through a major life event. This is a sealing ceremony for the body and for the energetic portals. It can offer closure and space to be held for all.
The hips are known to be the area of the body where unresolved emotions and trauma are held, this causes blockages of energy channels and closing the bones can help to release these emotions.
Closing these openings brings a sense of honoring of the experience and the release of any emotions that are ready to be freed from the body, providing a sense of closure and restoration to the entire body system, while also calling missing pieces of your soul back to your body, that may have remained during the experience we are providing closure for - allowing for wholeness and vitality after birth. Giving back to your body, after all it has done for you.
When the body remains open it is easy for our animistic forces to leave the body, leaving a void for illness and imbalance to occur.
The energetic closing of the bones done with the Rebozo helps to calm the mind, align ideas and energies and to feel prepared to continue in this new reality.
Traditionally this ceremony is offered in addition to Sobada (bodywork) which helps to create a calm and relaxing environment to prepare from the ceremony. Allowing for a deepening in the connection with the body to prepare for any release that may be present.
